Winter is the time to retreat, turn inward and replenish our energy. Yet many of us choose to fight against the season – we continue to rush, take on too much and rest too little. This results in a feeling of lethargy, a weakened immune system and lower moods, aka ‘the winter blues’.
Restorative yoga is the intelligent use of props and long held yoga asana to facilitate deep relaxation and true rest for the overstimulated body, nervous system and mind. In this two hour workshop, you will be held and supported in positions of comfort and warmth allowing your whole being to take the rest and support the you deeply need. You will leave feeling nourished, uplifted and re-inspired during this darker, quieter time of year.
